Quilt jacket made from American antique quilts circa 1930's - 1940's.  Short kimono style with open front and roomy sleeves.  Snaps at the bottom of shawl collar to secure the lapel.  The pink design is a traditional pineapple design also known as a welcome quilt.  The blue ring design is traditionally made by female relatives for a bride and is to be gifted upon marriage.  Each jacket is beautifully hand made and wearable art.  Each quilt is a treasure and the preloved fabrics may show wear or distressing.  Material: 100% cotton.
